「Beautiful property located in a great area walking distance to many shops and restaurants. We booked the Premier Suite which was lovely and spacious with a beautiful balcony overlooking Funchal. The staff were wonderful and the breakfast each morning was delicious. The grounds of the hotel are also lovely. Would definitely stay here again.」

「Great location - super convenient for the centre of Funchal and the old town and not much of a hill to go up to it. All staff fantastic and always smiling, really good breakfast, rooms good size and like the rest of the hotel very clean and tidy, views from the roof top bar/ pool superb - it was a really good choice for us! Couple of minor comments - - the pool was really cold! In fairness it is February but the sea was warmer. - when you get out of the pool the floor becomes really slippery...

「The hotel is above a shopping centre without any grounds around the hotel, however, it is in an excellent location within easy walking distance to the old town. All the staff were very helpful throughout our stay. The bedroom was sleek and modern with an ‘open plan’ shower/wash area. The beds were very comfortable with 3 different pillows varying from soft to firm. There are no views other than from the rooftop swimming pool and bar area but this didn’t significantly detract from the stay as we...

「A very welcoming hotel with friendly and helpful staff . All areas are spotless and rooms spacious and comfortable. The grounds are immaculate and there is one heated pool . Very much appreciated in the winter months ! The hotel is in a convenient position with a short downward walk into Funchal and also benefits from certain areas within The Savoy Palace . Breakfasts delicious .. I could not fault this hotel and would definitely recommend. We will return ! 」
