Our stay at this hotel was disappointing. The property is old and outdated, and our one-bedroom suite felt cramped. The kitchen was minimally equipped, with a small stove and refrigerator, an average-sized microwave, but no dishwasher, washer, or dryer. The room had a strong mildew smell and was infested with gnats, making for an unpleasant experience. The carpet was worn and outdated, and the bathroom tile had a raised, uneven design that felt uncomfortable underfoot. The balcony was extremely small, with just enough space for two chairs but no table.
The amenities were also lacking. The poolside bar only offered bottom-shelf liquor, with no premium options available. The hot tub was poorly maintained and had sand throughout it, making it uninviting. Additionally, there was no security gate, which raised concerns about overall safety.
Customer service was equally underwhelming. Despite having a confirmed late checkout, our room keys were deactivated, forcing us to walk to the front desk building. The staff member showed no concern or apology and appeared irritated by our request. To make matters worse, housekeeping knocked on our door three times during our late checkout period, disrupting our final hours.
Overall, this stay did not meet the standards expected from a Hilton property, and I would not recommend it.
