「Everything about this resort was exceptional!」

「Shouted the hubby one night away without the kids. Only an hour away from where we live. Amazing view, so nice & peaceful. Only downfall was the driveway to the place was narrow & we could not see upcoming vehicles approaching around the windy roads. The meals were overpriced a three course dinner (small portions) was $118 & breakfast was a-lot more. Otherwise overall a nice short getaway.」

「Our room had an amazing view of Lake Rotorua. The area is nice and quiet and relaxing. The complementary breakfast was very delicious. Parking was okay, but the driveway was very narrow and only one lane. Overall highly recommended if you really want to stay away from the tourists.」

「A curious property. We stayed for one night on our way back from the far North of NZ. No on-site dining of any kind was available: no breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The "Cafe" was closed. Our room/studio was quiet, with a separate bedroom featuring the best mattress of our long trips to NZ. 「We really enjoyed our sty here. It was very informal and a very unique property. Very friendly, and breakfast was pleasant. complementary charcuterie board was a really nice touch. Great location overlooking the lake from an outside balcony. Lots to see, float planes taking off, parachute planes and free fallers at a distance, boat trips etc can be seen going along the lake. Not too far from town though absolutely need a vehicle. Highly recommended 」

「This was the best overall place we stayed during our two months in New Zealand. Each room has a separate section of a huge balcony with stunning views, comfortable patio furniture. The room was large, comfortable, with large picture windows. The bathroom was large and modern with a great shower. Breakfast was delicious with a number of options to choose from and the hosts were terrific, friendly, knowledgeable about the area.」
