I booked this pet friendly room based on some reviews and pictures.
Big mistake.
When booking online, I reserved anticipating the need for a pet friendly room.
Upon arrival, the hotel looked as if was permanently closed. My first thought was, please don't let that be our hotel. It was, evidently they are under construction for a remodel. We were not notified of this.
Got inside and had to walk around for several minutes, yelling, "hello!" to find someone to help. Ironically the lady who came to help, opted to answer the phone first, and was rolling her eyes while being extremely rude to the person on the other end.
She checked us in, we went to check out our room and were greeted by the smell of urine. We checked the room out, while there wasnt any evidence of bedbugs on the mattress, they were very yellow and stained.
We went to check out the pool and other common areas, not being able to access the pool, our key cards weren't working, we peeked in the window to see cloudy water and lots of black sentiment in the pool.
On the way through the lobby the clerk stopped us and said that we were going to have to pay an additional fee per night because we had our pet, I had already made that arrangement for the pet when I booked.
We ended up leaving, but not after being told that we would still be charged for the night, even though we had been there less than 30 minutes and the the hotel was basically empty.
Here we are 5 days later and no refund at all.
