Because of a landing gear issue with our flight out of Atlanta, on Sunday, we were unable to make it to our booking with 3 West Club, and had to cancel our trip. Here is why we have re-booked our reservation with them for January, and are sending our daughters there next week as a Christmas gift:
Their staff and customer service is outstanding. This goes especially a very long way when you are in the situation we found ourselves in. First of all, someone answers the phone when you call the hotel ! I learned this as I called them to confirm our reservation. Realizing we weren't going to make it to NYC, when I called to explain the situation, customer service again answered the phone, graciously canceled the reservation, making a very bad day, much less stressful.
Other reasons we look forward to our stay with them:
You cannot beat the location. Rockefeller Center and St. Patrick's Cathedral are views outside the hotel! Central Park is a few blocks north.
Spacious and elegant rooms, especially for the location in New York. I hear the restaurant is a favorite of the locals for pre-theater events in the area.
