The property is beautiful! We thought the staff were all very helpful and very professional. We stayed from Thursday thru Sunday.
We would recommend the Sand Dollar Grille on the property for a casual meal. We had two meals there and they were both delicious and the personnel was great.
We were told housekeeping would be by to clean our room on Saturday at a specific time, so we made plans to be out of our room at that time, but they never came. Realistically, it was not an issue since we were leaving the next day.
The only real complaint was that we found the WiFi to be very weak and this was an issue for us. Overall, we would definitely stay there again with no hesitation.

They were not helpful in extending our stay even though we were already at the property. They had told me we couldn't extend our stay in person... then they blamed it on another reason.

My family and I stayed at Marriott's OceanWatch the weekend after Christmas. We really enjoyed this resort in Myrtle Beach! Friendly staff, clean and safe property, large heated outdoor pool and hot tubs, ocean view, parking garage with easy access to our room, etc! We will definitely be returning to this resort the next time we visit the Myrtle Beach area!

Everything about Marriott Ocean Watch was perfect except the internet! And it was terrible!!! We had three different maintenance people come up to help get it going and nothing worked! It just will not be satisfactory for anyone planning to work while staying there! It was only at about 10 percent.

Very hostile front end manager made issue with room door/lock a nightmare. Unable to escalate in the moment. Also Marriott now charges $25/day parking if booked thru 3rd party like Orbitz.

Ocean view with no Ocean in sight
I booked an ocean view 2 bedroom villa and when i checked in i was facing a parking lot. When I contacted the front desk I was dismissed and advised that my room considered ocean view. There was no view of the water. I specifically chose to stay at this hotel for the view. Needless to say I won’t return.

Rodent in our villa terrible guest relations
The level of service here was the absolute worst I have ever seen. I am in the travel business and have definitely seen a wide array of client service and by far this was the terrible. Let’s begin with the fact there was a rat/mouse in my children’s room. My daughter was traumatized seeing it scurry around and came screaming down the hallway. We called the pine villa manager on duty that night and he indeed caught the rodent with my 3 children screaming in the room. They moved our room but we had wet laundry and dishes for my kids sports tournament running so we didn’t actually settle into the new room until after midnight. This all of course comes after we got our room keys later than the promised 4pm check in time as well. Additionally when I was waiting for the call for our room to be ready the front desk charged my credit card 2 times. When I called and asked why they processed a charged over $10K they just brushed it off and said oops that was an accident and confirmed they did so with their accounting contact. We waited and waited for the general manager to contact us all morning and even with me messaging them they called to acknowledge the rodent at 12pm the next day! They said they could only give us bonvoy points which translated in dollar amount of $166 which is a joke. The right thing would be to take off the first night from our folio!!! We would have been fine paying for the other 4 nights but that 1st clearly should have been on Marriott NOT us! Not ok!!!!
