「It's not the Waldorf Astoria but that wasn't the intent. If you're looking for a clean friendly stay in a beautifully walkable setting this is it. Apart from the somewhat dated accomodations (hey, it was a tad rustic but it evoked pleasant feelings of nostalgia for this 60-something boomer) I couldn't have asked for a quiter room nestled on the shore of a beautiful lake (well, reservoir) and park. Plus we had the added benefit of being there outside of the tourist season. I'll be back.」

「I did not like the unexpected $100 surcharge at checkin for "extra charges" I might add to my room, even though it was removed at checkout. It was also an unpleasant surprise to have the water shut off for 6 hours on Saturday due to remodeling work. 」

「My husband and I celebrated our 39th wedding Anniversary. Didnt want to go far and thought that the hot tub would feel really good and boy did it ever the -30 degree temps ! The room was wonderfully comfortable, quite and clean. The young gentleman at the front desk was the most kindness to us for he made us feel so welcome.He deserves a raise in my book : ) The whole stay was really nice and we will be back nxt yr for sure.
