"Completely out the way, quiet, genuine staff who serve you a lovely dinner in your room. I hit a quiet patch so really managed to detach and got the Onsen to myself. It is away from the main town that the bus goes to but they were really happy to give me a lift there, and if i'd stayed there i wouldn't have found the waterfall that again i had completely to myself for some skinny dipping."

"Very special property that we loved. We stayed in January and esp loved the onsen and subfloor heating. Check in was easy enough because there was the option of online pre-registration. The road to the house was windy but not too bad - note that the GPS in the rental car may not show you the way. We used Google maps and got there without difficulty.
