Overnight stay en route to the Pyrenees ,
The hotel consists of small bungalow type rooms grouped around a restaurant/reception area . The room was basic but very clean. Scandi style decor .The room had a concrete area with table and two chairs outside .We had informed reception in advance that we would arrive late. Keys were left in a safe box .
After checking in we decided to go for a walk .The lake setting was the reason for choosing this hotel .The access to the lake seemed to be across the adjacent motor home parking area .Signposting was poor and the gate which may have led to access was locked. There were no instructions on how to gain access, so we returned to our room. There were no instructions on how to access the Wi-Fi, no password displayed .This was disappointing , as my husband needed to read work emails .
Reception was closed and the restaurant staff could not offer advice ,
No menus for breakfast were displayed but when I asked the staff what was available for breakfast they shrugged their shoulders. They just.told me that it would cost fifteen euros each .
Without more information ,we chose not to bother, My husband is a diabetic and needs to be sure that things are suitable ,
We left early ,as we had a long journey ahead , We would not choose to return to this establishment .
