「Both rooms smelled musty. The bathroom door in one room had a large crack in it and in the other room the door looked like it had been wet because it was all brown on the bottom. The shower curtain looked like it might have blood on it, the smoke detector was covered with some kind of netting, the door had a crack all around it. I will not stay there again.」

「The room was huge and furnished nicely. The hotel itself is very well cared for and kept updated. As long as you can get up and down the stairs, it is a great place to stay in Marshalltown. We ate at the Tremont Grille one morning and that was great as well. We will definitely stay there again when we come to town.」

「Was clean and kept up. It did have a hot tub listed and it wasn't there. Appeared it had been there and filled in, I could have used it. The room was clean, facility was clean and breakfast was what I expected and satisfactory. I would choose to stay there again.」

「Very nice hotel. Have been on the road for a few weeks and this hotel was probably the best of the variety of hotels we stayed. Room was very spacious, very clean, and very quiet. The bed was very comfortable and we didn't want to leave this morning. The breakfast was average. The staff were friendly and the hotel rates were quite reasonable and easy to find.」
