RUDE staff. A hail of harassing phone calls began to rain down into my phone about six PM on the night of my stay. A sharp-toned woman demanded to know when I would be arriving.... After politely telling her that I did not have my evening planned out, she then demanded an email address and credit card number over the phone, something I could not readily provide while driving and using the hands-free communication function of my car...As I politely explained that I wasn't used to having to make appointments to be able to check into a hotel, she snapped and began to shout over the phone. I then informed her that I wished to cancel my stay and requested a refund. Of course, she slammed down the phone and refused to refund my money when Expedia called. She is, sadly, a person who enjoys the fruits of her disrespect, pushiness, and self-centered rudeness. The approach of this business is to demand that guests serve the convenience of the employees. If this is combined with rudeness, well you have what I experienced at the Timbers INN and suites.
