「Great budget stay walking distance from most all tourist sites in the Fort」

「Very nice property. Good value. Great location for sightseeing. Very friendly and helpful staff. No food option at the property but nice restaurants very close by. Walking distance. They should use contrast strips on the steps making it easy to see for people with low vision. Easy fix toward trips and fall. 」

「This is a great hotel on the waterfront in Fort Kochi. It is a marvellous restoration of this old boatyard to create a very colonial feel. There are some nice touches to take advantage of such as high tea at 5pm each day followed by a guided tour of the harbour on the hotel’s very nice boat. All the staff were excellent but I give particular thanks to Arun who could not do enough for us. I was also highly impressed with the hotels very real efforts to eliminate the use of plastics an recycle...

「This is an extraordinary hotel, a colourful and unique oasis in the middle of bustling kochi. The rooms were beautiful and large and cool with a hot shower and comfortable beds. The pool and communal areas were also gorgeous and tranquil. Breakfast was fine, a good selection. Staff were great also. The afternoon snacks were delightful and a really appreciated extra. The fresh lime soda from the bar was amazing. It is quite noisy as it is in the middle of the town so cars horns and dog barking...

「Large room with three separate beds but non-functional. Yes, I understand that they have a room available not meant to be a hotel room, but why not rent out to make money. AC and WiFi non functional. Dark closed room. Couldn’t open windows. Needed to keep lights on. Dirty unusable wooden cabinet with age-old newspapers strewn as shelf liner. Folks, clean up the cabinet, paint and use store bought regular shelf liner but never those dirty newspapers. No place to put luggage even for one person....

「I spent my last night in India at the Malabar House in Fort Kochi and it was quite the treat. I was upgraded to the Garden suite and the room was stunning from the fixtures to the artwork. The staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient. The food was fantastic! The hotel is ideally located just a block or two inland from the harbor and the fishing nets. Gorgeous property. 」

「You get what you pay for in india . At the same time, this place didn’t even offer a bar of soap in the bathroom, nor any towels. For a blanket at night i used 2 thin beach towels . Not to mention that my room had the scent of a sewer at 2 in the morning 」
