「Great one night stay for our trip to Bar Harbor and Acadia. A bit cold at night esp the floor!!! Small heater in cottage which made it a bit more tolerable. Not sure I would stay more than one night esp in the fall. I’m sure it’s different in the summer. Wonderful owners very friendly and informative. Lovely grounds and quiet at night. 」

「Booked this hotel out of necessity because we wanted to do the bioluminescence tour in Castine (also highly recommend) and the Bucksport Inn just happened to be conveniently located. So glad we did! First, the service was exceptional. They called us the morning of our reservation to inform us that the TV in our room was broken, but to offer a different type of room (2 queens vs a king). We declined because we didnt care about the TV. Not only was I impressed with their kind communication, but...
