「The Hotel does need renovation to compete with newly build hotel chain. The room size is descend, but the furniture is old and has many scratch. If can do some renovation, I am sure can bring back many more customers.」

「This is a beautifully adapted Tudor Manor House into a first-rate hotel. The hotel itself and the grounds are beautiful to view and the private chapel is an added delight to visit. Staff were helpful and the food was very good both for breakfast and dinner. I was disappointed that I could not get wifi in my bedroom which was a problem as I had work to complete in the evening. I managed well once downstairs in the Tudor Hall. I knew there was no lift but the second floor required four flights...

「Wonderful hostess who kept me informed throughout and went the extra mile to make my stay great. House is wonderful and very peaceful. Bedroom was large with very comfy bed and the bathroom was awesome. Underfoot heating so showering was excellent. Once the light went out you couldn’t see you hand in front of your face. Perfect nights sleep on both nights and full use of kitchen when required. A real gem. 」

「An enormous hotel complex within a golf course, comfortable and clean, but a bit impersonal when empty on a cold February weekend. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had the shower in the bath. The spa was good at £20 for two hours especially as I had it to myself. We ate in the bar on Saturday night, which had several menu options, rather than the vast empty dining room. Nice views over the lakes and golf course but not somewhere to go walking. Not cosy but good value. 」

「Pub is closed on Sunday evenings and Monday morning so only contact we had was to pick key up, so cannot really comment on service. Lodge was clean but looking a bit tired, but was fine for a one night stay. 」
