「Modern hotel with good decor and good location to enjoy Mahahual. The beach was so calming and this hotel was a remarkable option. Food at Malecón 21 was very good (some were outstanding dishes). Service was good, but few times could have been better.」

「El hotel es de los mejores de la zona, tiene buena ubicación para acceso al Mar, comida, estacionamiento, servicio ameno. Al lugar le hace falta mantenimiento profundo al cuarto de baño, en coladera de la regadera sale mucho el olor del drenaje, y bisagras del cancel en muy mal estado. Todo lo demás está bien y en buen estado, camas, mesitas, cómoda y un balcón genial.」

「Pros: Visual architecture is beautiful...very organic looking ! Located close to everything in the town, playa, malacon...easy walks...plenty of eating places. Parking is mostly on street but, easy to find and safe. Clean linen everyday...big walk-in showers...artistic ceiling treatment. Cons: Rooms are sparse and, unfortunately, bathrooms smelled slightly of sewer. Overhead shower spray was weak, irregular, and non-adjustable;」

「Beautiful views of the sea from the Ocean-view rooms! Staff, notably Alessandra the concierge, was very friendly and helpful! It was very windy during our stay, so the sargassum/seaweed built up horribly right in front of the hotel, but walking down the malecon a few blocks gets you to a really nice beach area. Lots of restaurants to choose from including the one at the hotel which served decent food and drinks. I would definitely recommend this area and hotel to others.」

「Excelente atención de la anfitriona llegamos a las 9 am y la entrada era a las 3 pm y nos ofreció cuidar las maletas nos proporcionó toallas y camastros en la playa y la oportunidad de cambiarnos de ropa para empezar a disfrutar desde temprano. Playa a unos cuantos pasos y lo mejor limpia de sargazo. Todos las personas atentas ofreciendo su servicio y los masajes súper relajantes. Un lugar muy tranquilo para venir a disfrutar y hospedarse en el hotel. 」

「Paradise and peace. We loved it at Margarita del Sol. Although, the drive from the town to the hotel, not the hotel’s fault, was really rough. Please remember to purchase food before you get there as you won’t want to leave to traverse the road back into town. Lulu is lovely and extremely kind and helpful. 」

「This is a HOSTEL, not a HOTEL. So, PRO: Súper friendly staff, big kitchen you can use, right in front of the beach, in the middle of nowhere. No people around. Perfect for a getaway with no cellphones. CONS: Not the cleanest place, they don’t clean the rooms during your stay, staff only works during mornings so if you need something during the day it’s kinda difficult.
