The staff is helpful and cheerful. When I get hurt during the New Year, no Tuk Tuk can be called. The boss of hostel drives me to the hospital and wait me for over half hour.
The environment is clean and quiet. You can see the reality of monks just in front of the guesthouse, comparing with the "tourist" monks in French area.
But the hotel is in the another side of the river. Bamboo bridge is built during the dry season but it charges 5000K for go-and-back per person. If you stay 4 days, 20000 kip is charged. You can use the metal bridge but it is quite far.
Overall, I recommend the hostel but I am angry with the bridge fee which only charge tourists.
