「We had an amazing stay. It had everything we needed for a night. There were board games and plenty of books to keep you entertained. The bathroom was very tidy and clean. The bed was super comfortable. The details of the property added extra comfort too. We were visiting Stamford so it was an easy 15min drive through countryside. 「The shower head was covered in limescale and the silicone sealant mouldy, and the toilet rocked a little when you sit on it, the bedroom was spotless though, the staff lovely and the food was good! 」

「This was probably the weirdest hotel experience in my life. The huge manor has been converted to a hotel but has been neglected recently (including a time housing asylum seekers - Google it). The time around 10 of the 100+ rooms are being used so you “rattle around” especially when you’re the only guests!! 「To be honest, the reception was great, the room generally clean and tidy, although the sheet on the double bed didn't fit and only just covered the top of the mattress. We had dinner in the bistro, as we had a dog with us. He was welcome to stay with us, but we could only eat in the bar area. This was fine as on a Friday evening there was hardly anyone in the bar area. The food was fantastic and there was plenty of it.」

「The Red House is a delightful old, large three story town house in a more up-market part of Grantham, if there is such a thing. Large room with high ceilings and original features - not to everyone's taste but perfect for me. Very quiet and peaceful but easy walk to the town center. 「The hotel was in the perfect location for the rail station, which was the reason for booking. The hotel was adequate in regards to their facilities, and the owner was very friendly, which is always a plus. The room was small, but fine for an overnight stay. It was a little bit musty in smell, though probably just needed airing a little bit more. Breakfast was reasonable and I was accommodated for allergies and preference. 」
