I stayed for 4 nights. This is not actually a hotel, but rather dorm rooms in the Imperial College Campus.
Except for sheets and toilets, the property was not very clean. A dirty towel was still in my room on arrival, so I put it on the floor so housekeeping would take it away the next day, but they left it in my room. Furthermore, some of the housekeeping staff doodled on a pamphlet that I left on the desk and stole the pen they used to do it. Neither the pamphlet nor the pen were all that important, but the fact that they messed with my belongings and stole something (even how small) was alarming and upsetting. I told the front desk staff immediately. Although the woman was very nice, showed concern, and took notes, there was no compensation offered for what happened. This was terrible service for a facility that was just okay. Additionally, housekeeping staff was inconsistent in the way they refreshed the room supplies (ie: coffee and milk sachets).
Although I knew this would be a bare-bones stay, the service left much to be desired. The location is within the very safe and posh Kensington neighborhood, just a few blocks from 3 tube lines and several major museums.
