stay in superior room. Room is clean and price reasonable. At mountain top, take tram 28 and the stop is near to the hotel. Always full on Sunday, better to book in advance.

There was a neighbourhood party of at least 30 people going on in the street right outside and below the rooms of the hotel that went on until well past 1 am. It was incredibly noisy, constant yelling and loud shouting and completely impossible to sleep. It is not a problem to expect noise until at least 11 pm but for it to continue unabated in any way until well after 1 am is not OK and the staff did nothing to even try to deal with the issue. When we called down all they said was there was really nothing they could do about it. Throughout the stay, the staff made us feel like we were interrupting them. Would NEVER stay there again

Great Hotel in Alfama. Our room was a little small as we had 3 people so we needed a fold out couch in the living room. The breakfast was very busy on our first morning so we had to eat outside, there is not a lot of room in this area. However the breakfast was beautiful and the location of this Hotel is fantastic. So close to everything.

This was the best hotel we stayed in during a tour of several locations in Portugal. The staff were excellent , the room was clean and airy and the breakfast was perfect for a good start to the day. Even when a prolonged power outage struck the whole of Portugal and Spain, the staff made every effort to help the hotel guests as much as was possible. Highly recommended.

Was a pretty good stay, but missing some simple things; no hair conditioner in the room, bed was way too firm and pillows too flat, shower doesn’t have a wall on the side the water sprays… so your bathroom floor is drenched. However, the area felt safe and was quiet. The staff were very friendly. And it was walking distance to lots of great things.

Getting to the hotel is very difficult. To get to the hotel, we needed a code to put a piston down to gain access to the road. But we didn’t know this until the second time around. The entrance to the hotel is basically in a very small alleyway and we were able to drop off the bags and then we had to go park the car down by the cruise terminal. When we did get to the property And opened the door, the front desk person barely greeted us and did not get up to help us at least open the door while we were trying to bring our luggage in. The hotel itself is clean. Our shower was a Good size but did leak all over the bathroom. Upon leaving the desk person was more helpful and at least got up To Hold the door open for us to take out our baggage. The area around the hotel is in a quaint area with lots of restaurants nearby.

Be aware that this property is on a street where you would need to drag your bags along bumpy terrain. Ubers do not have access to their front entrance. The hotel was clean, offers water and coffee complimentary. However if your room is situated on the J or K side it is super noisy at night. Like an evening gathering with music and loud chatting ending usually after midnight. Close to many restaurants and sights and very walkable. Staff were efficient, but would not say friendly.

Modern hotel in the heart of the Alfama with easy access to trams (if not full), shopping and dining. Has a very nice courtyard and breakfast, although the seating area for breakfast is a tad crowded. The alley to the front entrance is a tad sketchy if you’re a woman alone although we did not incur any issues. Good stay overall!

Very nice and modern hotel in old area of Lisbon. Hard to get to as the entrance is on a narrow street on a steep hill. Room was very small. Breakfast was good with good selection. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and modern.

The service at hotel was great. Rooms were nice, we got one that was two stories so with two adults in bed upstairs and two little kids on sofa bed downstairs. The bed itself was hard to my and husbands preference but bedding/pillows etc were good, clean. Good blackout blinds and functional bathroom w hot water and good water pressure. Staff offered prompt recommendations. If you are dropped off by uber, it’s a walk down a short hill; when we were leaving they did offer their hotel taxi who left from the front door. Coffee, hot chocolate and water available in lobby was a nice touch and a favorite of my kids. Right in Almafa area so nice location and right by tram tracks. Thank you for a nice stay!
