「The building itself is beautiful, a Victorian country house, and set in woodland. There's plenty of parking at the front of the hotel. Inside, it was welcoming and clean. My room was very comfortable, a lovely bed in which I had a fantastic nights sleep. I was happy to be able to open the window and get some fresh air (not like a well known chain that seals windows shut!). 「Be aware no lifts have to walk upstairs. But pub and restaurant downstairs good food really nice staff. Parking opposite if you are lucky is free but later in evening usually. Otherwise paid lots are free after 6 close by. Narrow streets. Have to be used to being in England for this! 」

「From the outside it looks like a traditional pub but what a surprise when you go inside. The bar and restaurant is light, airy and modern. Staff are super friendly and accommodating. The two flights of stairs to the rooms are challenging but the hotel does warn you at booking so cant complain. The room itself was clean with large ensuite bathroom.
