The hike down to the creek is an hour and a half. Then it’s an hour and a half back up. In one sense it’s a disappointing hike because the creek is so low. If you want to see the best view of the canyon, go to the Overlook points that are paved.

Walked the Turkey trail down the canyon. Not the easiest trail to walk. Hasn't been improved since I was there in the 70s. Still walking over roots and slippery muddy sections. Not sure if I would take really small children down it. It's narrow,Rocky, and steep.

The look out trail was worth the view although it was very steep in a few places.
