「It’s a lovely old hotel. I’ve driven by a few times and always wondered what it was like inside. It didn’t disappoint! Beautiful old floors and woodwork. Nothing cookie cutter. The bar is gorgeous, but the sound did not penetrate-even with a band playing. Room was clean, plenty of towels and temperature control was quick to change, so very comfortable If you like old buildings this is for you Only one word of caution. You do have to carry your bag up a staircase, so don’t overpack!」

「Stayed here for the indoor pool and only upon our arrival did we find out it was closed. Disappointing because there are better priced hotels in the area but chose this for a pool that was closed.」

「We loved the privacy of staying in our own little cottage. The property has a lot of charm. Any issues we had were easily resolved with a call to the owners. We had our own little kitchenette, ground coffee and coffee maker, refrigerator, plenty of fresh towels and a warm bed. Easy access to all of Lancaster County. The continental breakfast was tasty if a bit small. A small chest of drawers for clothing in the cottage would have helped. We had to live out of our suitcase for our stay. This...

「For my first Bed & Breakfast, VAAST did not disappoint! I loved my room and the security of it. It was code access only. The breakfast was very simple and fresh. There were cooked items, fresh fruit, a number of different drinks. Parking was good and there are a lot of nice shops close by. Amanda was an amazing host! I definitely recommend this property to anyone staying in the area.」

「This is the nicest motel I've stayed at in my life. Friendly staff. Including housekeeping staff. Clean room with a sitting area with a separate tv. Small fridge for drinks and snacks and a coffee nook in the room. A real breakfast was definitely a bonus. The room was quiet even though there were families next to us. Overall a great experience!」
