This is a great guest house and who includes breakfast anymore?? My cousin and I stayed for one night and our room was very warm, cozy, and the owner made us very welcome. He went above and beyond with breakfast the next morning and cooked up custom meals for each of us! I would definitely stay here again since it is in an excellent location, within walking distance to the Largs train station, and who doesn’t love excellent hospitality and service?! Highly recommended

Absolutely fantastic stay. Keith, the owner, is incredibly friendly and offers a great breakfast. Would happily stay here again. Great location near train station, bus stops and supermarket. Also very quiet inside room.

Staying here you will receive the friendliest of welcomes to a very professionally run Bed and Breakfast. This is a pristine clean, top notch place to stay in Largs. 5 minutes walk from the Train station, 10 mins walk to the harbour. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful and always served with a warm greeting in the morning. Comfortable and relaxing surroundings to make you feel at home.

Keith was a wonderful host, friendly, fun and a wealth of local knowledge. Our room was very comfortable and clean and we got an excellent night’s sleep that cured our jet lag.

Host welcoming and very happy to recommend what to do both locally and further afield. Situated close to the high street, with roughly a 10 minute walk to seafront or roughly a 5 minute walk to station if wanting to do hour train ride to Glasgow.

Keith was the most thoughtful host we have experienced in many years of travel. He went over and above what we would expect from a host, always checking we had everything we needed. Clean, comfortable room, and an amazing breakfast. Can’t recommend this place and Largs enough. Simply lovely!

When I saw the reviews I was sceptical nowhere could be that good. It was. St Leonard's is probably the best Guest House I have stayed in. It is super super clean, your host is friendly, the breakfast is terrific, and the room was lovely. It really is that good

Excellent in every way. Keith an excellent host. Breakfast was first class. Room was excellent nice touches fresh milk in the fridge, cold water in fridge as well as room temp. Furnished very tastefully.

this started as an Expedia issue and that certainly didn't help. This listing never showed in my "trips" dashboard and it took hours to try to get it straight and at the end of the day it was not fixed making communications with the property nearly impossible. That being said, we did not stay here. A "Keith", who i understand is the owner, told us if we arrived after 7pm we would have to leave our belingings "upstairs" and we couldn't take a shower. He was quite nasty about it. Having traveled for over 20 hours we decided to book elsewhere at the last minute. Apparently this guy is well known in this little town for being grumpy and rude.
