We were not supposed to pay until check-in. The lady at reception desk had already charged the card when we got in (within an hour of the start of check in which is 3 pm). When we got the room it was extremely cold (obviously no one had stayed in it for at least one day) and without exaggerating, we had to kill at least 8 little roaches in the bathroom, on top of the desk, on the floor. We were disgusted, complained and they gave us another room which luckily free of roaches and was closer to the elevator. The hall, however, smelled strongly of smoke. There was a homeless person sleeping overnight on outside furniture close to the entrance of the hallway, and he was smoking and looked menacing. The manager or reception person was very nice and solicitous after we complained, but that does not make up for the disagreeable roach reception, the homeless visitor and the bad smell on the hallway. We will not be returning to this hotel.
