「I wanted to thank those who worked here, especially the lady who spoke English at the front desk. We were very out of our comfort zone. My mother had just come out of 7 days in an Italian hospital with no English. The cleaning ladies help us feel very welcome. They are super lovely towards us. 「Come da titolo, l'hotel si trova a pochi centinaia di metri dallo svincolo autostradale per cui comodo per raggiungere Messina e visitare la costa. Si presente in buone condizioni tutto sommato anche se l'aria condizionata purtroppo non funzionava. La camera è abbastanza ampia e soprattutto pulita, bagno compreso. Ottimo il parcheggio all'interno dell'hotel. Colazione a mio avviso da migliorare in generale. Da segnalare la cortesia e gentilezza del personale preposto al servizio. 」

「Our stay at Casa Vela can only be described as magical. The owner allowed us to stay in an upgraded room for the first couple of nights, which had an incredible view looking over the streets and the sea! Casa Vela has a wonderful wine bar attached to it with excellent food and drinks. Our room was clean and very comfortable. The staff are very kind and attentive! Scilla might be the most beautiful community in all of Italy, the people are warm and welcoming and there is a very laid back...
