「Very out dated property in the old area of Lahad Datu. Felt quite unsafe walking around the area, everything was run down. The hotel is above a mall, but the elevator requires no key to access the hotel levels, so not very secure. Air con is not efficient and extremely noisey. Bed was horrible, towels and sheets not clean. Cracks in wall paper and bathroom in terrible condition. 「Much better area of Lahad Datu, compared to town closer to airport. Lots of small shops and a good supermarket below hotel. Area feels relatively safe and we enjoyed the Night Market for dinner (although we were very much a spectacle for locals who are not used to tourists). Hotel itself is reasonably modern, good size bathroom and shower. Beds were OK for comfort and air con worked OK.
