This place is truly a hidden gem! We celebrated my husband's birthday here, and it made the occasion incredibly special. Despite considering cancellation after reading some reviews, everything exceeded our expectations once we arrived. Parking was a breeze, thanks to the convenient garage available. Upon entering, we were warmly welcomed by Amelia at the front desk, whose sincerity and friendliness set a wonderful tone for our stay. She provided us with a map of the property, offered us water, and gave us directions to our room. Shortly after, we received a text encouraging us to reach out if we encountered any issues during our stay. Walking to our beachfront room, we admired a stunning aquarium in the lobby, along with a couple of outdoor table games to enjoy. The room itself was lovely, though we noticed a bit of bird droppings on the balcony, which is to be expected near the beach. The soothing sound of the waves was incredibly calming, and beach access was just one floor down through the gate. The restaurant was fantastic as well! Our server provided excellent customer service, and the food was delicious. They even offered a coloring sheet for my son, which he loved. It was hard to leave this hotel, and I wish we could have stayed longer. During checkout, they kindly offered bottled water for the road, making the process smooth and easy. * If you prefer alternatives to the restaurant, there are plenty of food options just a short walk away on Avenida de la Playa.

Leider ist das Hotel schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen.Das Restaurant völlig überteuert.Für einen Minisalat, einen Burger und etwas Humus zum dippen, knapp 90 Dollar.Parken 55 Dollar. Die Lage direkt am Strand ist aber toll.

Overall, my wife and I’s stay here was okay. Street parking near the hotel was not too bad, and location was right along the water and was close to various things to do. The restaurant was pretty nice, as well. However, the facility, as a whole, was not all that clean and upkept, especially our hotel room, as it had some bugs in it, some blood on the carpet, and issues with the fridge when we arrived. Also, there was construction going on outside our room along with a relatively large group of people staying next door, so there was a good amount of noise constantly going on around us, even in the evenings. On top of all that, this place was not exactly the cheapest of places to stay. Can’t say we will be making plans to stay here again.

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Had to switch to two different rooms, still the heater didn’t work. Luckily for the maintenance engineer we were able to receive a portable heater, which barely worked through the night. The balcony was dirty with bird feces all over, and after asking for the balcony to be cleaned over 3-4 times, no service was provided. The staff were nice I’ll say, but the condition of the hotel is simply horrible!

Amazing view when you book the beachfront room which I highly recommend. The hotel is well located with walking distance to restaurants and stores. Amenities could be revamped a bit but the location and view would make me go back anytime. Note: take into consideration resort fees and parking fees that will apply

We rented a suite with a kitchen. Great to have full stove, fridge and micro but limited kitchen wares to actually make a proper meal. It really should have a dishwasher. Not keen on relying on how other people before me wash their dishes. The location is perfect though. Right on the beach.

They advertise pet friendly but was charged an additional 180 dollars for my dog as well as being told my dog can’t bark (this was at about 730 on NYE) . If you are traveling with pets this is not the best option.

All the staff was not welcoming, even in the front desk, most employees was not friendly and helpful at all. Rooms were clean but really outdated, specially the carpets and all the furnitures. Parking is $45..! It’s just walking distance to the beach.The amenities closed at 10pm, which is really nice.

Good for couples, small families wanting location for the beach, dining options, quick transit into La Jolla. They offer a 5 mile shuttle but it’s not free. Part of the 32 per day resort fee on top of room charge. Plus the 43 per day parking fee. So yeah. If you want close to the beach, you’re paying for it. Rooms are a little cramped for 4 or more people.

This hotel was exactly what I needed to escape to calm and serenity on the beach! The staff was amazing, especially Florence who was so helpful and welcoming. Everyone who works here exudes excellent care and service! Highly recommend this beautiful hotel!
