Our stay here was...ok. Nothing was horrible, just a little off putting. If you just need a place to crash for a night it’s fine. Our host wasn’t exactly welcoming, she didn’t give us much of a tour or explanation of the place. Just, here’s your room and here’s the bathroom and then disappeared. I noticed there were dvds in kitchen area, but no DVD player. There were cleaning supplies left all over the place, like spray bottles and scrub brushes. Our room wasn’t quite ready when we arrived, the blankets were outside drying and the host just pulled them off the porch railing and dumped them on the bed asking if they’d be enough. We wanted to go out for dinner around 9, which I guess is kind of late, bc our host had blocked our car in with hers and we couldn’t get a hold of her to move it.
it was really relaxing. if you want to relax and enjoy the sea side view of genuine Japanese town, this is the place. There are not much of attractions right near this place, but train station is not too far away.
Fyi, there was a dog, which is probably the host's dog. so if you have a allergy from dog hair, then you should be aware of it. I had to took my anti-histamine tablet to avoid allergy reaction and it was fine.
