「It was perfect like usally 」

「Lovely guest house about 30 mins from Trier in a national park. Host on site to welcome. Large ensuite room with bath and separate shower. Comfortable bed. Free parking. There is a upstairs terrace to sit out on. Not sure about a pool, there's a public pool across the road. Breakfast was continental but plenty of it.」

「Lovely place to stay and relax, great pool and sauna facilities. Nice restaurant and bar and easy parking. Nothing else around except a separate Italian restaurant which was basic but served fab food at good prices - a nice alternative to the hotel’s own restaurant. Safe and easy parking.」

The building is very attractive; the proprietor was very pleasant; the breakfast was good. The room was spacious & clean but badly thought out - e.g. amongst other things, power sockets for the bedside were behind the bed and inaccessible, the loo was situated below a very low, sharp point of the ceiling, the curtains served no purpose at all. We didn’t manage to get wi-fi at all in...
