「Lovely hotel, staff were so friendly and attentive, check in was easy and parking was ample. The room was decorated beautifully and we were happy with the street view. Close to town, easy to walk around and go out for a drink or coffee nearby. I will say, the bathroom was disappointing - there was hair in the shower and it was dirty so that was a bit off putting. Also, the bed was two singles bolted together but the bolt at the head of the bed had fallen off so it separated during the night...

「Very friendly rooms above pub slap bang in the main street. Pretty laid back and jiust came and went as we pleased. Cat and all the staff were very friendly and helpful to us. Bar was great for a few drinks and the town is great with friendly people everywhere. Big bonus was Vale of Leithen won :-)」

「We received a very warm welcome by the duty managers. They were very understanding when we requested a later check in as we were traveling all the way from Inverness. Nothing was a problem at all. We stayed for two nights and breakfast both mornings was amazing. Thoroughly recommend staying at this lovely hotel. We will definitely be back when we can. 」

「Staff made us very welcome. Hotel very clean. Situated central to shops restaurants buses and walking areas. Parking area to the back. If stayed again though would ask for another room as we were in basement with no view. 」

「We spent 4 lovely nights at this hotel with a wonderful group of staff in every area including the big sister Hydro hotel up the hill nearby. We ate in the bar one evening having delicious soup starters and burgers with drinks for a reasonable £50 . The breakfast was buffet style with served hot full Scottish or vegetarian equivalent. Both were great quality and cooked to perfection. There is an inhouse bakery, which we had to sample, and the cakes were delicious. We saw amazing looking sausage...
