「We stayed with our young son for 3 nights in July 2024. The staff were absolutely lovely, so welcoming and helpful with everything we needed and great with interacting with our young son. The food - breakfast and dinner - is truly incredible with nothing too much trouble. The only downside we experienced really was that we were in a room on the top floor which, while the room had clearly been hoovered etc, it was dusty in places with lots of cobwebs - while we don't mind spiders, we removed...

The staff were all so friendly and obliging and the hotel was close to the NorthYorkshire Moors Railway station at Pickering so walking there took 5 mins. Pickering itself is charming with a good selection of shops and bakeries so there is enough for all tastes. We would return again to the White Swan.」
