「Large room, king size bed, great shower. The view from your room is jaw dropping, when the staff open your room door it is the first thing you see is the view. Staff very friendly the restaurant uses fresh ingredients a lot grown on site like the papaya for the famous papya salad. Amazing place I wish I could have stayed longer. Ideal for the boat trip to the Ratchaprapha Dam which the hotel can organise for you. 」

However, this hotel was far away from any dining/convenience store, and delivery was pretty much not available after 7pm. There were also no GrabTaxi available in the morning, but this is apparently normal and the hotel staff offered to drive us. 「Three story building. EXTREMELY STEEP STAIRS. No lift / elevator. No proper handrails. Just thin rusty 1 inch rebar that was not secured very well to the wall. The stairs were so steep it was like climbing a ladder. After I dragged my luggage up to the third floor, all I could think about was: IF THERE’S FIRE HOW WILL I GET DOWN THESE STAIRS WITHOUT FALLING?
