「It is comfortable, older hotel. Quirky even. Everyone very helpful, nothing a bother. Bedding and towels excellent quality. Breakfast was freshly cooked, and superb. Plenty of choices. Service excellent. Dinner was fabulous, in presentation and taste, again cooked to order. A busy evening function, but residents came first. Will definitely stay again.」

「We stayed here as a couple but also as part of a larger family group, including my niece and nephew (12 and 8 respectively). Our room was the Illingworth room. It was huge, facing out across the road to the lovely old church. Road noise was minimal and the bed extremely comfy with good pillows which were not too soft, perfect for us. We slept well. 「Absolutely stunning property, our stay was 5* from start to finish. The ambience & the decor is beautiful but it was the service we received by all of the staff and the food which was the highlight of our trip. Everything we ate & drank was phenomenal & the staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. We will definely be back.」

「What a beautiful location. When my wife and i woke up in the morning, we watched the sunrise over the Dales. The same for breakfast as the dining room has ceiling high windows overlooking the cows and sheep grazing in the fields. The rooms are nice, clean, and quiet, and the beds are comfy. We quickly became friends with some of the other guests. The bottom line is that we had a wonderful time there. We highly recommend Throstle Nest Farm. 」

「This hotel had beem recommend to us and it did not disappoint. The room (crows nest) was superb, the facilities were spot on and the menu was excellent (festive theme) great value and food was mega tasty. Cant fault our stay at all」

「Positives: Comfy bed Fridge in room Yorkshire tea and Grandma Wilds biscuits in room replenished daily Hosts were friendly and offered advice on local area 5-min walk to train or bus station Close to shops, pubs, restaurants Negatives: No window in bathroom and extractor fan and a bit noisy Shower took a few minutes to warm up If you like to sleep with the window open the road outside is quite busy Entrance hallway was a bit smelly Overall, good value for money.
