「We had a quick stay at A&J Apartments on an overnight stop between Crete and heading home via ATH. We arranged rides to and from the airport through the property and were picked up promptly. He walked us through the property which was clean and stocked with everything we needed (plus Raki!). We were given directions to nearby cafes and a square for food which were all within walking distance. We walked to the square for dinner and baked goods which was excellent (Corso Como Cafe Food Bar) and...

「This is a great option for an overnight stay near the airport. It is about 300 steps to the sea, with a relaxing, stunning little hike along the coast from there (maybe a half mile each direction). There are small family beaches all along the trail. Where the street meets the water, there is a tavern overlooking the shore with cheap healthy food, ridiculously large portions. The hotel staff and the taxi drivers they arranged for me were very communicative, kind, and efficient, even at 4:30 am....
