"I loved this unique hotel, it was a tick off the bucket to stay in the rainforest! The staff are so friendly and the food is excellent and great value for money. It is very easy to get to the animal centres and I was still able to access the internet so could order grab taxis. I’d definitely recommend bringing bug spray! 100% would recommend, where else can you stay in the rainforest?!"

"The team at the Losge were so helpful. We were a day late due to a missed connection and we wanted to head into the jungle and they arranged everything for us and even took a day off of our booking to facilitate a stay with their sister lodge at the Kinabantagan River. "Great little hotel with a pool just outside downtown Sandakan. The hotel restaurant was a pleasant surprise, as they had good Malay food and the staff were amazing! Unfortunately they do not open in a timely manner for breakfast. Otherwise a great stay. If you're into history there are some cool photos in the lobby worth checking out. Apparently the property was a former residence of the governor of North British Borneo, and it is nice to see what it and the town used to look like."
