It is important to know that rooms are only cleaned on request. Unfortunately the staff do not speak English or German. A translator is helpful. We felt very welcome."

The dinner was one of the most delicious we have eaten in a hotel. In addition, there are numerous hiking paths leading from the hotel as well as different options, bus, train, or hiking, for traveling to nearby Oybin. "

"Location Location Location! Crowning a mountain in stunning wilderness, surrounded by walking paths, quaint villages and ancient castles and churches, it's a beautiful place. Welcomed by the owner, Torsten, who grew up here and whose family ran it before him. As a solo traveller, he went out of his way to make me welcome, even walking down into a local village with me for dinner one night. If you want German culture, landscape, food and hospitality, stay here."

"Dear Sir/Madam The guests couldn't check in due to some problem of the connection between the hotel and the system of Hotels.com. We paid the booking in full at the moment of the booking, but the guests couldn't use it and to receive accommodation. By chance we found another accommodation Now we insist that Hotels.com refund us immediately and in full the amount of 752,22 EUR which I paid for the booking! "Tried to put me in inferior room than the one I booked. After complaint was given a room with safe not working. Third room I was given was an upgrade but the internet worked horribly in all 3 rooms which were in different parts of hotel, different levels. Bed wasnt very comfortable. No way this hotel deserves anything close to the rating it has. One of the rooms the sink was over the toilet making it awkward to use. I arrived at hotel very tired from long trip the check in fiasco took over...
