Beautiful little property, with a wonderful pool area and very nice bar. Very friendly and helpful staff. I would rate much higher but unfortunately our shower was really dirty and the room was quite dusty.

I wish I could stay longer. Beautiful big room and comfortable bed. The staff went above and beyond with flowers and some cupcakes when we arrived. The whole property is beautiful and well designed. Definitely staying here again when I come back to Jaco.

This was a great place to stay. I would stay again. For other travelers: they don't have two restaurants on-site but yiy can order feom 2 local restaurants that will deliver. There is a bar on-site but they don't serve food.

Hotel Amavi was absolutely beautiful! The staff was friendly and informative. Very clean with the most comfortable beds. Location was great, just a few minutes walk to the beach with a couple of bars and a cute restaurant called Mahi Mahi you could just walk up to and order the most delicious food and sit right there on the beach and eat! Pura Vida ☀️

We were greeted by friendly staff, they also sent us details for checking in if they were not at the desk as we were arriving late, the room had a comfortable bed, coffee was provided with a coffee maker in the room, and the layout of the room and the level of detail was great. All rooms are laid out around the pool are light and have blackout blinds, very good stay. Would definitely stay here again!

Each visit to Costa Rica has been truly awesome experience. I would say this trip with a longtime 50 year friend was perfect each day. Excited to get the trip started we decided to check in a day early to Amavi Hotel. Amazingly, that was well received through text whats app. Arriving, we were more than pleased. Frankly, we were so impressed we stayed all days at Amavi Hotel, added another. Lol This hotel gives the most positive vibes in every aspect. Rooms, grounds, staff, location and peace of mind. No worries here. Outstanding locally owned and many ticos earning a good living. Support the local economy and this Jaco Beach Hotel will give back to you years of Pura Vida.... To be honest, this Hotel Staff will expose the true Pura Vida Lifestyle. The 5 star ranking doesn't say enough here, to recharge the soul is 10 star. I would recommend to, families, friends, solo travelers. I personally travel all categories.

It was such a beautiful boutique hotel. It was 2 min walk to the beach and like 5 min drive to the main street where all the restaurants are. The days we were there the host had activities for guests to mingle. (Trivia & paint night)

Beautiful new hotel with friendly and helpful staff! I’m still a sucker from the millennial aesthetic, and this hotel does it well. Beautiful wood furniture and accents. I noted several efforts at sustainability. And, most importantly, the bed was super comfortable; I didn’t want to get up!

We loved our stay at Hotel AMAVI ! The rooms are gorgeous and the overall property feels like a dream. My partner and I chose to send an extended weekend in JACÓ to celebrate my birthday and we had a blast. It is in walking distance of the beach and the strip with all of the shopping, dinner, and bar options was a $2 UBER ride away. Highly recommend!!! The staff is very nice and welcoming.

We loved the intimate size and chill vibe of Hotel Amavi: wonderful and responsive owners and staff members, very cozy room, perfect pool with floaties and a colorful mural background, a pool bar with the best bartenders! Our room had a kitchenette and a fabulous bathroom with a rain shower head. The hotel is walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants as well as a fantastic jungle hike where we saw a monkey and a toucan! We took a surfing lesson with Julian, one of the Hotel Amavi team members and he was fantastic! It was our first time surfing and he was so supportive and helpful. We had a great experience at this lovely boutique hotel.

Hip, new and beautiful
The place is brand new, everything was spotless, the staff super friendly and gave us great recommendations. The full bar is great and the place is peaceful. The pool and its amenities were excellent. Internet connection was fast. Great spot for surfers. All toiletries were eco friendly. Great place, I'd definitely would repeat. We slept great. Parking was a breeze.
