「The Inn on Mount Desert is an older property very close to downtown with ample free parking. Leave your car there and walk. The free breakfasts are amazing; two options every morning such as an omelet, bluberry pancakes or blueberry waffles, with ham, sausage, etc. Plus the usual bagels, muffins always available, coffee always available, and so on. The rooms are plain but large with ample closet space. Everything well maintained and very clean.」

「Guess what? I literally never stayed in the hotel. I didn't even breathe any of the atmosphere that was anywhere close to the hotel. Why the five stars? Because the customer service from Christopher at the front desk was the most top notch intergalactic experience from a place that I literally never stayed.. 「The included breakfast was so good and highly recommended. There was an electrical outlet in the bathroom that didn’t work. Also, not sure if it was us, but we couldn’t get the door to lock. However, for the location, cleanliness. We would stay here again. I might recommend a bigger refrigerator since we did have leftovers and they didn’t always fit in the fridge. 」

「The room was absolutely adorable. Freshly remodeled with excellent design choices. Functional kitchen. Super cute little cottage. Perfect weekend getaway for me and my dog. Only thing was it was a bit cold, but it was very cold snowy and windy outside, so its understandable. Could only get heat to get room up to 60 degrees F (i set thermostat to 90, but 60 was all it could pull off). My dog and i wore layers so we stayed warm enough. Very comfy bed.」

The kitchen had everything we needed, though a few extras like wine glasses and some basic spices would have been a nice touch. 「Loved the charm, cleanliness, decor and location. However, internet was so bad we couldn’t watch more than a few seconds of YouTube at a time. Upstairs shower had the lowest flow we’ve ever seen, even with volume turned up to maximum. Dishwasher was commercial and required many manual steps lifting basket, etc and special soap that we never found. Easier to hand wash. No laundry and outdoor light didn’t work at night so we stepped in dog pooh getting out of the car when we arrived. Beautiful...
