"The room was nice! Staff was helpful. They recently changed ownership so the included breakfast was now a bagel bar. Disappointing at first but I did the coffee and bagel and it was good. Hot tub was not working. I’ll bet most of these hotel hot tubs are not working. This town is hiking destination. The hot tub would be helpful. Overall, in general it was good."

"El Rancho Dolores Motel is my hub whenever I am in Twentynine Palms. Their rooms are clean and comfy, parking is right in front of the unit, and the amenities -- fridge, microwave, tv, wiFi -- always work. The swimming pool is great on a hot day and the north entrance to Joshua Tree National Park is minutes away. What really makes a stay at El Rancho Dolores especially comfy, however, is the staff. The owners plus Tulouna and team keep the grounds manicured, the rooms tidy, AND they are quick to help with a request -- extra towels, more coffee (there's a coffeemaker in every room), or early check-in. They help me feel at home in the high desert. "

"The check in was the best we've ever had. I said my name and Clem handed me the cards because he was expecting us. I've never felt so welcome. On a scale of 1-10 I'd give check in an 11. I was super impressed!! Hotel is clean, comfortable and quiet. Bed was super comfy. This was an excellent choice!!! I would stay here again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay!!"

"Finally a hip hotel in the Hi-Dez. All the obligatory features: polished cement floors, strange wall mounted clothes hangers, great art. Lobby was cool, with more art, fun but spendy merch, good coffee (but not free). Firepit and pool. "
