Really cool hotel in an ancient Medieval building right in the heart of the city. The breakfast buffet was outstanding and I love that it was downstairs in the old wine cellar. And our room was MASSIVE and had a great shower and lots of closet space and shelves. I also love the free coffee, tea and snacks in the lobby that we could access 24 hours a day.

Parking in front of the hotel is expensive so I parked in the nearby garage, making luggage management a bit challenging. The room was pleasant but work was being done right outside my window so it was a bit noisy in the morning. The area is wonderful with excellent restaurants within minutes outside the entrance. The free breakfast was very good.

A Room in Hradec Kralove

This is not a hotel--not between 7 pm and 9 am. It is an essentially empty building with rooms in it. I was traveling through the area and Hradec Kralove was a good stopping point. This looked like a nice enough small hotel from the website. But when when I got there, there is no one there. I got an email the night before informing me of the dismal office hours and with instructions on how to access the room. I got a code to punch in. This was much more like an airbnb-type place, only not really furnished and nothing but a bed, a tiny fridge and a small shower room. Plus side: the wifi worked great. The website says that parking is available. Yeah, right. Public parking a good 10 minutes walk away. It was snowy and icy. Beware! if you have walking/balance issues. You CANNOT park on the street or you will get towed. They knew I was driving and needed to park, but they didn't arrange anything. Once I got there and discovered the parking situation, I called a number hanging on a wall and though the young lady was literally just 50 yards away in a different building, she couldn't come to give me a parking pass for the night on the street. I had to drive to the public parking garage and then walk back. At least I didn't get towed while figuring it out. At least the room was very clean - 100% wood floors. Think Spartan. The heating is old radiator style. Not efficient. No breakfast. I left early and checkout was simply leaving the room door closed. I will go elsewhere next time.

Geen receptie, dus je moet jezelf via aanwezig e pc inchecken en je krijgt een kamer code. Parkeren is op straat, moet je wel van te voren melden ivm verkrijgen parkeer kaart. Er is geen bar, ook geen minibar en geen drankautomaat. Gelukkig ligt er een nachtwinkel op loopafstand. Hotel is oud en gehorig en mijn kamer keer recht uit op appartement ernaast. Ontbijt pas vanaf 7.30 uur (voor zakelijk reizen is dit te laat). Telefonisch met receptie op afstand overlegd en 7 uur was ook mogelijk. Volgende ochtend bleek dit niet doorgegevn...kreeg een oud broodje van dag ervoor en plakje ham en kaas...

Das Hotel war insgesamt in Ordnung, aber der Preis i.H.v. 80€ pro Nacht ist durch nichts zu rechtfertigen. Die Einrichtung ist recht alt, das „neuartige“ Code-Schloss an jeder Tür lässt sich nur umständlich bedienen und es gab leichten Schimmel in der Duschkabine.

Like staying in a castle.

Two night stay for business. Friendly helpful staff. Nice location near old town square. Room was a good size and clean. Furniture and décor bit basic. No foreign language TV. Shower holder too low. Breakfast OK, plentiful but not many hot things. All very quiet, probably due to only just coming out of lockdown.

Für einen Kurzaufenthalt in der Stadt ok

Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt ok. Das Hotel ist zentral und ruhig gelegen. Der Empfang war freundlich, das Zimmer sauber, Matratze war für mich gut. Das Frühstückbuffet fand ich persönlich nicht ganz so toll, aber das ist Geschmacksache. Kostenlose Parkplätze auf der Straße vorhanden, allerdings nicht garantiert.

"One double bed" appeared to be 2 single beds put together, one squeaked. Mattresses are comfortable. There were no shampoo, conditioner, sufficient water supplies. Cleaning is not every day. Receptionist was never there. Breakfast has limited choice and every day is the same.

This penzion is just one block off Hradec Kralove's big square, on a romantic cobble-stone street. Very close to numerous restaurants, including my favorite, Na Hrade. The property is a solid old building with staircases of stone, key-card entry, and my room at least was airy and clean. A very acceptable breakfast buffet with plenty of protein is laid out in the basement, which is a cellar of red-brick arches. You'll love it!!

Świetne miejsce na nocleg w Hradec Kralove.

Entuzjazm personelu przy powitaniu nie ma ceny! Pomimo faktu że recepcja jest "dochodząca" z sąsiedniego obiektu to uśmiech i życzliwe powitanie niweluje zaskoczenie. Pokój duży i wygodny. Minusem są widok z okien na dziedziniec(pok nr 4) i bliskość okien z przeciwka oraz odgłosy dochodzące z korytarza. Minusem jest też mała salka śniadaniowa w obiekcie, bo gdy w hotelu jest pełne obłożenie to trudno znaleźć wolny stolik. Ale co by nie pisać o minusach to jest coś co sprawia że pobyt w tym obiekcie wspominam jako przyjemny i następnym razem znowu byłby na czele listy wyborów w Hradec Kralowe! To ładny, zabytkowy budynek położony w ładnym zabytkowym centrum Hradec Kralowe - mieści godnym zobaczenia.

Good but nothing special

Generally, everything went off quite well. I had to press the button at the door for somebody to emerge from around the corner and process my reservation. It was quick and efficient though. The room was small but clean. Nothing fancy but, frankly, the low price I had to pay reflected it. Wi-fi worked perfectly. However, I was surprised that there was no room service - nobody came to clean my room after the first night. I thought it was a three star hotel. The room had no air conditioning but I was able to open the windows and the fresh air filled the room. I did not see any other guests in this small hotel, maybe because, as tourist guides say, Hradec Králové remains largely unexplored by tourists. Great location in the center of old town. Not much more. I'd recommend if you stay here if you are a solo tourist like me, but look elsewhere if you are on a romantic honeymoon.
