Well we had to stay here due to a storm knocking out my power for a week. I chose this hotel because we also have a furry family member and they allow dogs. After I booked it, I called to confirm they had power and I could bring my dog and was told yes. I get there to check in and was told by the lady checking me in, I couldn’t have my dog. THEN after I questioned that and was told someone told me I could, she said yes, but you have to pay a deposit. Well, yes, I didn’t question having to pay a deposit which is typically how it is when you have your pet with you in a hotel. Then the next day, my family, dog included, were leaving for the day, someone stopped and asked me if I had a room there and that, “Oh” she thought I had checked out the day before. Like, what?! I just did not feel very welcomed there. Hurricane or not, we will not be staying here again.
