「Very good 」

「Dated room with peeling wallpaper, lukewarm water, and small uncomfortable bed. Certainly not worth £90. Dinner was shocking, and can only be described as a congealed bowl of slob. Meals were returned to the kitchen uneaten, but the £26 were not refunded. Breakfast was ok, but served on a dirty table with last night's drink stains on it. The only saving grace were the friendly and welcoming staff.」

「Its a delightful tavern. Plenty of room on the car park and onto a traditional, friendly bar where my hosts booked me in quickly and with a great intro to how everything worked. I had room 2, in a purpose built outbuilding and I was really pleased with the first impression. Everything worked as it should and there were lots of extras not normally given in this type of accommodation. 「We stayed whilst attending a local wedding. The staff were really helpful & friendly. The room was comfortable & clean. They even had hot chocolate in the room, as someone who doesn’t drink tea & coffee is something I really appreciate.」

「Amazing is an overused word. Was visiting apprentices in the port. Phoned to say would be very late. Kept kitchen open had very nice steak. Then went to suite. It was huge. Kitchen TV room, with everything including washing machine, and shower room. TV in living room and bedroom. View out the window directly to countryside. Nice breakfast. 」

「Rooms and bathrooms are very clean, warm and cozy. Breakfast options are great, loads of choice of teas, pastries, porridge etc. Private parking and host is lovely and helpful too. Would definitely recommend. 」

「Very welcoming from a call to discuss parking and check correct room was available to arriving and being meet and shown property etc. Breakfast has a good choice of cereals and toast with all the condiments and yoghurts. Very clean and modern rooms. 」

「The breakfast was amaizing!!! The room had heating, i turned radiator down but nice if u like heat... the bed was very close to the tv on wall so getting to yhe otherside of the bed you are banging into bed. But rest brilliant, fabulously comfy bed and affordable.」

「Loved the Indian restaurant within the pub, food was so flavourful best curry I’ve tasted, the rooms are in a separate building just off the back, so don’t worry about your room being tainted by curry odours. Pub does food as well which looked good, would definitely recommend 」
