「There was a very cosy feel to the hotel and the room. Breakfast was great, with lots of variety and staff were friendly and helpful. We had dinner in the pub on the first night and the meals were delicious. The room was fairly comfortable but it could do with some updating/replacing of items. The mattress was past it's best (resulting in an uncomfortable sleep on the first night) and the taps were loose, with drainage not working great. However we'd certainly return again.」

「Great location, convenient public car park out the back of the property. Inside space felt comfortable and fresh and the room was perfectly comfortable. Our only issue was a constant, loud hum (imagine a loud fridge) which persisted all night, though this didn't bother my husband, I barely slept. Other friends who stayed in other rooms had no issue so I think we were just very unlucky with our room (no. 12) which seemed to have a vent of some kind right outside the window. 「We only stayed for a couple of nights but we found Danni and her family very friendly and welcoming. The room was very comfortable and clean with everything you needed. The breakfast and evening meals were excellent, and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you all very much and we will definitely return. 」

「This was our 9th time here, as a group of fellow motorcyclists, this place is a Central meeting place for all of us. The Dog house could do with a lick of paint, but it is clean. Good selection of drinks, decent meals and a good breakfast. 」
