「The accessibility, location, house, restaurant and vegetable/fruit garden were excellent, and the internal and external staff were outstandingly pleasant, cheerful, polite and attentive. Our room, upgraded for us without our so asking, was roomy and well-appointed, but rather dark and sombre, so it made the many inside steps rather difficult to see, slightly dangerous for anyone without perfect vision. Overall, very much enjoyed.」

「Always have an amazing stay at Southern Cross Guest House. You’re always made to feel very welcome and the rooms are so comfortable and there’s everything you need. Breakfast is absolutely delicious too. Such is in a great location for Sidmouth and its idyllic boutique shops and the wonderful donkey sanctuary too. 」

「We had a fantastic stay at Dukes. The staff were so helpful and welcoming. Our room was clean and we were really impressed with the size of it. Location is perfect, meant we didn’t have to drive once we arrived in Sidmouth. Breakfast was an extra treat too! We will definitely be back!」

「Beautiful location in amazing village. Room was okay for few nights although possibly may need a bit more deep clean at some point in time as few things felt overlooked. All in all pkeased with our stay!」
