「It is a very beautiful property with amazing views! The staff was very friendly. They were constantly cleaning. The food was great and reasonably priced. (We have had a hard time with finding good food for a good price in the previous places we stayed. The beach was incredible! It is a a tough drive on gravel would recommend a 4 wheel drive with good tires. We had a small car and had to go very slow. There is three creeks that need to be crossed we were okay because it is the dry hot season.」

「Room was nice. Air conditioner workedwell. Bed was comfortable. Restaurant with pool view and nature view was soothing and romantic in the evening. It is very remote. and relaxing. 「Hung up in unbelievable traffic in Santa Cruz, I was not able to check into the hotel until 7 AM the next day when they reopened. So I don't have the overnight experience one expects. That said, the room was very clean, the shower had good hot water, and I did get a morning nap on the bed. Fort7nately, it is off the road a bit. But noise carries and young Costa Ricans love their motorcycles. So if you are super noise sensitive that might bother you, but the traffic is really light on that...

「I love boutique hotels and Leyenda is no exception. The grounds are quite beautiful. They greeted us with a welcome drink! We stayed for 3 nights total, family of 5. 「This place was a great choice, 2min walk from Samara beach, staff was friendly, they had onsite food available, very nice bar beverages options by the pool. Pool was kid friendly with some stairs and nice shade during the day. Room had nice A/C and very comfortable beds, was very spacious and had very nice seating area.
