「The hotel is part of a historic inn which was very atmospheric. We stayed in a family room for 3 people and the room was warm and cosy and welcoming as we arrived just before 9pm and it was a bit chilly in the countryside. Breakfast was excellent and in a nice dining room in a genuine rural setting. Service was friendly & excellent.」

「I booked this hotel as a treat for my mother and father. I just spoke to my Dad. He said the hotel was great. Very accessible, nice room, easy check-in, and only a short walk into town. 「The location was pretty nice, being central to the Bury St. Edmunds town center. The location of the room was very difficult to find because the navigation apps we used put us far away from the actual room. We luckily found a mailman who took us to the right location. Other than that, the room was alright and comfortable enough. I’m not too sure it was entirely worth the cost, but it was alright. I’ll say 7/10.」

Shower looked good but didn't use it... my fault as I was put off by large window in bathroom which had a net curtain, I didn't notice till too late the blind! Very good location for town, cathedral/gardens & Apex. Got car in their car park which is small not sure where you would park if no spaces. 」
