「This property perhaps is best appreciated by thinking of it as a 'condo ' rather than a posh resort. Very well run, clean, close attention to detail, free parking, loaner beach gear etc. If you are expecting water slides and a lazy river...no. Medium sized pool w/ hot tub that we rarely shared w/ anyone. Do note that the upstairs neighbors were loud -- early (4 and 5 am) in spite of 'quiet time'. We complained once and then let it go... Great home base to Hanalei and local beaches. 」

「The location is the best part about this hotel. Within walking distance of a dozen restaurants and bars. Service was fine; we checked in and the guy at the front simply handed me a couple of bracelets and said to enjoy my stay (I had to ask if he wanted my Bonvoy number and I figured out when I got tot he door of my hotel room that my bracelet was also the key). All the chairs around the pool are taken by 10:30 (perhaps they should get a few more). Nice music in the evenings at the bar. Wish...
