「Mainly stayed for Keswick Convention. Walkable distance from Base Camp and Main Tent at Skiddaw Street. It's quiet and near a scenic view from a river nearby. The lawn of the Hotel brings rabbits and relaxing atmosphere to guests. Friendly staff and great self-served breakfast. A good balance of price and service. Will definitely visit again.」

「Good sized room, massive comfortable bed, excellent views toward the lake, clean, decent bathroom (shower no bath but a good shower). Sat in the bay window reading our books after a long walk with window open, just very relaxing. Parking was £6, seemed to be plenty of spaces. Derwent water is an easy stroll post dinner if you want to walk it off. Breakfast was full service as table, plenty of space and room, staff were lovely, food was good. 「We had a delightful time at the Troutbrook Inn. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, plus they were certainly dog friendly. As this was my first time travelling with my dogs this was so reassuring. Would certainly book again if making a return visit to the area. 」
