"the staff was nice enough. the stay was far from luxurious. paying that amount of money for a room and being charged a ridiculous amount for watered down alcohol not to mention so much as a free water or soft drink i understand that is out of the staffs control. being fed reheated pasta and rice ,paper thin sliced chicken with mustard, bland barely warm fish. it was a pathetic experience for the price. again mostly out of the control of the staff. simply would not recommend."

"if your going to see halong bay, a cruise is a must...otherwise the town itself is really boring.. about this cruise: the pros: attentive staff, plenty of activities organized, comfortable and clean... the cons: food looks better than it tastes, no wifi, rooms can be noisy...its a wooden boat so your hear when ur neighbor upstairs is walking around..."

"I did the 1 night cruise and the whole experience was excellent. The administration (Anna) was very friendly and efficient and the logistics for the shuttle were clear. Once on board, the staff were very kind and attentive, the cabin was comfortable and the food was delicious. I enjoyed the excursions, particularly the caves and hiking.
