"Lovely room in an ideal location. Easy short walk to the town for dining options. Clean, comfortable room in a beautiful garden setting with a river at the end. Feels very relaxing and is ideal for seeing the Dordogne area. Owners are lovely and very helpful with suggestions for where to visit. Breakfast on the terrace was a delight. ONE WARNING - this property does not accept credit cards, however there is an ATM nearby."

"We had a lovely stay. Our room was great and the staff, especially the afternoon reception clerk was wonderful. Not only did she acclimate us to the hotel, she helped carry our bags, and she helped plan the things we did while we were in the area. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant which was super. Highly recommend!"

"I have stayed here before as it has a lovely pool ( nice to relax at after sightseeing) and is in walking distance to all amenities. The rooms are simple and clean with all you would want with the exception of a hook to put the shower head on, however works well when holding it by hand. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. I would happily stay again."

"Great location, lovely pool! The rooms are spacious. It would. We didn't know until we left that there were some breakfast products available in the building next to the pool. Also, there wasn't any info on the gym. A bit more comprehensive info in English (probably other languages too) would really help. Also, check in time of 5pm is really late, and check out of 10 is too early. I appreciate they need to clean a whole apartment, but its difficult to work with those times."

"These are lovely people and it’s a beautiful located property. If you are from the UK or US the owners both speak amazing English and will make you most welcome. Two nights wasn’t enough, but we were unable to extend our stay as it was fully booked. Would love to come back one day. "

"1. Arrive in the daylight! This is Deep France, so it's a little confusing to find in the dark. 2. Stay in the Chateau part of the house. Our romantic room was BEAUTIFUL and just like the photos. "It's amazing how only two people (husband and wife - they run this place) can make you feel welcome and like you come to the house of loving friends or relatives! They greet us with the smile, showed to our rooms and offered us dinner even it was 10 pm. When was last time you had such a service!??
